Altar Frontal

I created this piece in memory of Dad. We use it at church in the seasons of Lent and Advent. Click here for the design spec I submitted to the PCC. This is all hand stitched; couching metal threads on to a silk background that I dyed. In total it took me about 150 hours to complete this piece.

This was inspired by my geometric design work, using some of my favourite wools.
